Saratoga has many things to do, no matter what interests you. Whether it’s summer or winter, Saratoga has plenty to keep you entertained!

Saratoga Hot Springs

One of the town’s main attractions, the Saratoga Hot Springs, is located just a short 7-10 minute walk from our motel, or 3 minutes by vehicle. The Saratoga Hot Springs is a free mineral hot springs open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Temperatures average around 108 degrees Fahrenheit, although there is a not so hot pool that averages 95-100 degrees Fahrenheit and a “lobster “ pool that is extremely hot at nearly 119 degrees Fahrenheit! In the summer, you’ll find many people swimming in the North Platte River next to the Saratoga Hot Springs, which is warmed by the springs but a great place to cool off on hot summer days.

Hunting

Saratoga, Wyoming is home to some of the most exceptional wildlife in all of the state, making it an excellent choice for hunting enthusiasts. Saratoga has elk, antelope, deer, moose, bighorn sheep and more.

Snowmobiling

With over 500 miles of groomed and ungroomed trails, snowmobiling is a huge draw to Saratoga in the winter months. To learn more about snowmobiling click the button bellow.

National Fish Hatchery

Located 4 miles northeast of Saratoga, the hatchery supplies trout eggs to lakes and streams nationwide. Self-guided tours are available from 8 am-4 pm daily, and hatchery employees are available to answer any questions about the hatchery.

The North Platte River

From lazy floats and whitewater rafting to outstanding opportunities for fishing and wildlife viewing, the North Platte has it all. One of the local businesses here is Hack’s Tackle & Outfitters for canoe and raft rentals, guided float or fishing trips, and more.

Hiking & Mountain Biking

There are a variety of hiking and biking trails in the mountains of Carbon County, ranging from relatively easy to long and challenging.

Saratoga Lake

Take a trail ride while you’re visiting Saratoga! With several different outfitters offering trail rides ranging from beginner to advanced, you’re sure to find one to suit your skill level.

Events

Saratoga, Wyoming is home to many annual events such as Toga Days, the Pig Digger Mud Rally on Memorial Day Weekend, Independence Day Festivities, and the Annual Ice Fishing Derby.
